Washing Instructions

How to Not Ruin Your New Favorite Shirt:

  • Cold water only (hot water is for overachievers)
  • Turn inside out before washing (protect that graphic you're gonna wear until it falls apart)
  • Use a gentle detergent - this garment-dyed cotton is chill, keep it that way
  • First wash might bleed a little, so separate it from your fancy stuff
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry (air drying = more time for snacks)
  • We reduce plastic waste by the removal of polybags from all products except color White

This Black Irish Surf Co. design is a field guide to the cold-water surfer who would rather check the buoy than check their messages. Built around the massive distressed WAXHEAD headline, the graphic celebrates dawn patrols, forecast obsession, empty lineups, thermos coffee, and the quiet satisfaction of disappearing offshore before most people wake up.

Across the top, four illustrated badges tell the story: Dawn Patroller · Forecast First · Socially Offshore · No Crowds. Below, technical panels, buoy data, warning labels, wave-period graphics, and dry humor turn the design into an unofficial personality profile for the dedicated cold-water loner.
